Anthony M. Knott Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anthony Montez Knott was born on June 3, 1989 to Robin Knott and Walter Hall in Louisville, Ky. Anthony worked full time for Ford Motor Company. He was also an entrepreneur that owned his own micro/exotic/pocket kennel, Beastly-Ville-Bullies. His business consisted of breeding and trading of American bullies in the Midwest. Anthony loved his dogs. In his spare time, he also managed his long time friends the J-Boys throughout their musical career. As a youth, Anthony was very active, charismatic, and way ahead of his time. He fell in love with various sports and grew many great relationships over the years with like-minded individuals. He ran track, played basketball but loved football more than anything. Anthony graduated and played football for Seneca High School. It was there that Anthony made history and broke their record for having the most rushing yards of all time. His #2 jersey was retired. He then attended Thomas More University located in Covington, Ky where he ranked 23rd in the state. When Anthony discovered he was expecting a child, he decided to give up his football career so he could return home and be a hands-on father. Anthony was a very devoted and loving father/husband. He loved curating game nights, hosting holiday gatherings, and creating extracurricular activities for the family to participate in at home. He loved playing games on his Xbox and would wake up his friends at the crack of dawn, just because he wanted to play. Anthony was always joking, pranking someone, dancing, or singing his favorite songs. He loved having a good time and making sure everyone surrounding him was as well. His laugh was contagious, smile lit up a room, and energy was magnetic. Anthony had a heart of gold and was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet. He was the true definition of a solid man and he inspired many people just by living in his truth. Anthony was indeed prolific in many ways. Anthony united in marriage to his gorgeous wife, Linda Knott, on November 13th 2021. They began their love story over 7 years ago and instantly hit it off when they met. The two shared a love so genuine and playful, it inspired many other couples they came into contact with. They now share a loving, blended family. He has two beautiful daughters and two handsome sons that have been the the driving motivation in his life next to God, to be the very best man that he could be. On February 21st, Anthony transitioned onto the road of sweet eternity with God. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George A. Knott Sr. and Margaret Hall. He left behind his loving wife, Linda Knott, to cherish their memories and legacy. He also leaves behind his two daughters, Ja’Zyah Knott and Aniya Knott; his two sons, Zavier Knott and Zane Knott; his parents, Robin Knott and Walter Hall; his sisters, Elaina Knott, Aaliyah Knott, and Elaiyah Knott; his brothers, Michael Dickerson, Jawuan Winters, and Walter Hall Jr. He also leaves behind his best friends, cousins, and a vast community of people who love him dearly. Visitation: 5pm-8pm Monday, February 28, 2022 at Forest Tabernacle Baptist Church, 4205 E. Indian Trail. Funeral: 11am Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the church. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery.
