Betty Mae Faulkner
September 28, 1957 - May 31, 2020
On September 28, 1957 God blessed the late Hazell and Nettie Faulkner of Selma, AL with a beautiful baby girl whom they affectionately named Betty. At a very early age Betty confessed Jesus Christ as her Savior and made him the Lord of her life. May 31, 2020 Betty passed away unexpectedly at her home. Betty lived a happy and fulfilling life but this life is only our temporary assignment. God always knows what is best for his children and on May 31, 2020 he called Betty to her permanent home in his Kingdom. Betty attended Central High School in Louisville, Kentucky. She served with the Air National Guards, she left with an Honor Discharge. Betty later moved to Lansing Michigan and made it her permanent home. She was employed with Michigan State University for 30 years of dedicated service to the MSU Culinary Services. She retired September 27, 2017. The wonderful memories of her life will be cherished by her four sisters, Diane Morrison of Raleigh, NC, Hazarana Brown (Rudolph of Louisville, KY, Claudine Stewart (Alvin) of Radcliff, KY and Linda Dorsey of Louisville, KY; one brother, Robert Faulkner of Louisville, KY. and a host of nieces, nephews relatives friends and a special cousin Frankie Dixon (Toddie) of Montgomery,Al all whom loved her and will miss her very much. Visitation: 12pm-2pm Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at A. D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St. burial in Green Meadows Cemetery.
