Charles W. Robinson, Sr., 96, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was a member of 1st Virginia Avenue Baptist Church, retired from the Census Bureau and a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his son, Charles W. "Bill" Robinson, Jr.; daughter, Donella "Donnie" Robinson Boyd (Lacy); stepdaughters, Shari Knox (Charles), Deanna Gaddie, Judith Gaddie; grandchildren, TaRon Rydel Robinson, Rayna Robinson Eberhardt, Lacy Boyd, III, (Brandi), Suzanne Knox-Cannon, Amber Kaye Brisker; nephews, Howard L. Robinson (Vanessa), Jason Greer; great-niece, Ilynd Robinson; cousin, Stacey Robinson; longtime friend and caregiver, Jackie Hillman and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10am-12pm Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at A.D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St., private funeral to follow at 12 noon. Funeral will live stream via www.adporters.com.
