He is survived by his wife, Betty Leonard; children, Don Leonard Jr., Andre Leonard, Derrick Leonard, Timothy Leonard, Shanora Leonard and Donnique Leonard; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings, a host of other family and friends. Visitation: 11am-1pm Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St., funeral service to follow at 1pm, burial in Louisville Cemetery.
