Gwendolyn H. Cork, 88, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was a member of West Chestnut Street Baptist Church, President of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. of Louisville KY and retired teacher with JCPS. She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Cork Sr.; children, Thomas E. Cork II., Vicki Carter (Norman) and Bryan D. Cork Sr.; grandchildren, Brandi Golder and Bryan D. Cork Jr; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Harvetta Jordan (Robert Sr.), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation: 10am-12pm Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at West Chestnut St. Baptist Church, 1725 W. Chestnut St., funeral service to follow at noon, burial: 11am Thursday, May 19, 2022 in KY Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Louisville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., also the Chestnut St YMCA Black Achievers, Louisville, KY. Arrangements entrusted to A. D.
