After many years of employment with the Galt House she retired. Though no children of her own, Iris loved children and spent countless hours babysitting her nieces and nephews. Iris was preceded in death by her parents, Roberta and Morris Dansby Sr., her beloved partner, John Henderson, brothers, Mark, Morris Jr., Michael and Gary. She leaves to cherish her memory brothers, Joel Craig, Bruce, Roderick, Broderick, Barry (Dorothy) and Charles; sister, Brenda (Robert), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
