Teresa Maryln "Molly" Hines

Teresa Maryln "Molly" Hines, 90, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026. Teresa was born on April 22, 1936; to Joseph and Ellen Churchill. She was the sixth of seven children raised in a loving and faith -filled home. A proud graduate of Central High School, Class of 1954, Teresa went on to use her administrative talents in several roles throughout her life. She worked for Commonwealth Insurance Company, the Louisville Board of Education, Seven Counties Services, and later served faithfully as the church secretary for Saint Augustine Catholic Church. In In 1960, Teresa married the late Carl R. Hines, Sr., and together they built a loving family. From this union came four children: Carl R. Hines, Jr., Keith Hines, Cheryl Cooper and Corey Hines. Teresa was a devoted and active member of Saint Augustine Catholic Church. Deeply committed to serving others, she dedicated countless hours to church ministries and organizations, including the Choir and Worship Committee, Pastoral Care Team, Administration Committee, office volunteer ministry, and Dare to Care. She was also a lifelong member of the Seidal Ylevol and Epicurettes social club, where she formed many lasting friendships and cherished memories. Of all the roles Teresa held in life, her greatest joy was being with her family and friends. She loved deeply and sacrificially, always placing the need of others before her own. She especially treasured the moments spent sharing stories, singing, and dancing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of her favorite saying,..."and I'm cute too!" became a beloved phase after it was once shared with her by one of her great-grand sons. Teresa leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Carl Jr. (Michelle), Keith Sr. (Annette) and Corey (Shannon); daughter, Cheryl (Philip) Cooper of Tampa Florida; ten grandchildren, Shannon, Keith, Jr. (Katie), Richard, Danielle, Isaiah, Gabrielle, Kailyn, Brooke, Dante (Olivia) , and Sade (Dean); eight great-grandchildren, Jesse, Jaylyn Rico, Mia, Jamari, Jacari, Noah and Jonah. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends, who will forever cherish her memory. Visitation:5pm-8pm Friday, May 22, 2026 at A. D.
